Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro facing battery performance issues

April 29, 2007

iPod maker Apple has reported that some users of their Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops might face issues with the performance of batteries.
The company however clarified that these issues are not related to the one related to Sony batteries which posed safety risks.
Apple said that some of their products might have been shipped with batteries which would not charge when the computer is plugged into an outlet.
Apple added in their statement on this issue: “The issues are not a safety risk, so consumers can continue using their batteries.”
The company added that the problematic machines were shipped worldwide from February 2006 and April 2007.
Apple has more details on this new issue on their website.
