How to make a dynamic IP static

If you want to start your own FTP on home PC, but the problem you are facing is that your ISP provides you with the dynamic IP , then this could be a problem for you as you can’t change the IP again and again. The solution to your problem is http://no-ip.com.

    I’m sure my ISP would sack me if I did any mischievous things with his network..
