Twitter – charges for cellphones

I found twitter not that useful but this is post for all those who want to know the pricing of sending and receiving sms using the twitter service which states in its “Terms of use” that all the sending and receiving is free. I used this service for a month and i am using airtel (Delhi) postpaid connection. So the receiving is free but there is charge of Rs.3 per sms that you send to twitter website which further gets relayed to your twitter friends.

Romania UFO attack

I am hearing the news of an attack on MIG of Romania by some 4 UFOs. Every week these kind of news comes up and nothing really turns up. It is just the eye-catcher of the TV channels for the viewers to get the TRP. This is ridiculous. I think its just the hallucination of the pilots they get under the G force that they experience during the flight.

ActuaL price of apple iphone 3G

Apple has launched the new iPhone 3G which it says will cost around 199$ all over the world. But what about the data plans that comes with the operator, nothing is mentioned about that. So keep your fingers crossed as they are launched in various countries and then it will come to India, so the situation will be clear by then.

Google indexing acting weird

I think I have to review my other post about google indexing. When I created the blog, it was indexed within hours, but now a strange thing is happening. Now when i check my blog’s indexing, its showing that no pages are currently indexed, thats strange.

Bug in Firefox3

I was trying the new firefox 3 and the bug that i found while using rediff.com. When i use IE7, it automatically remembers my password if i i choose it to remember my password, but no such option comes in firefox3, even if it comes, it doesn’t remember the password for rediff.com.

For other sites its working fine.

Apple iphone 3G to launch with airtel and vodafone in India

Apple has decided to launch the 3G iphone (iphone ii) with airtel and vodafone this year in India, however the launch date and pricing is not yet disclosed.
So keep your fingers crossed as they will first launch it in other countries and then in India.

Adsense didn’t approve me

I had applied for the adsense on my blog, today i got the reply from that they cannot allow adsense on my blog as my blog don’t provide any unique content. That’s strange! I have just imported my prev. posts which were on worpress and moreover i used to use adsense before on my other blogs with the simila kind of content. May be they have changed their policies, i am gonna reapply to them.

Community recommendations-Orkut

Orkut today has introduced community recommendations that suit your profile, however they have provided teh option to turn that off if you find it troublesome, i am still to figure out what is the use of this service.
